CALM | Santa Barbara Remodel
12.12.10
LUA was proud to attend last nights event benefiting local non-profit CALM (Child Abuse Listening & Mediation) at the historic Villa De La Guerra. CALM’s mission is to prevent, assess and treat child abuse in Santa Barbara County by providing comprehensive, cutting edge programs to children, adults and families in need. Visit CALM’s website www.CALM4KIDS.org for more information, or to find out how you can help.
The event was held at a Santa Barbara Remodel project that LUA completed. See below for a link to photos of the finished product:

The event coincided with Villa De La Guerra’s Centennial. One hundred years ago, Francis T. Underhill built a villa for his mother-in-law Francisca De La Guerra. The floor plan was modeled after Casa De La Guerra – Francisca’s childhood home. Over the last 100 years, several owners have called the Villa home. In 2004, the Villa was purchased and a thoughtful restoration began. LUA was honored to be a part of the historic renovation project.
